REAP Investment Board, Inc. responds to the need for procurement technical assistance through the development of a regional PTAC, dedicated to serving businesses in the SW REAP counties, CONAC REAP counties and the Griggs Steele Empowerment County. Client services begin June 1, 2005.
The REAP PTAC’s technical assistance, education and services will broaden business opportunities for entering the marketplace of the United States government and state and local government purchases for North Dakota firms of all sizes in every community. Its existence will be valuable resource for the state and its success will boost North Dakota’s employment opportunities and general economy.
REAP PTAC’s long term objective is to build a quality, full-service Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) for the State of North Dakota that will demand the approval and funding of the State legislature and the Department of Defense (DoD) in 2007. REAP has contracted with IEC to implement and provide the PTAC assistance and training to businesses pursuing government contracts.
REAP’s short term objective is to offer PTAC services to the North Dakota REAP Zones through 2007. The counties in the SW REAP and CONAC REAP Zones are: Adams, Bowman, Billings, Dunn, Golden Valley, Hettinger, Stark, Slope, Bottineau, Rolette, Towner, McHenry, Pierce and Benson as well as the Three Affiliated Tribes, Spirit Lake and Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians Reservations.
